Jack-up Rig Spudcan

▶Background of the study

 

 Mobile jack-up rig and jacket platform are frequently used for offshore gas drilling. Previous studies reported that the respective foundation system plays interrelation with each other, referred to as the “spudcan-pile interaction”.

 

 

▶Objectives

 

 To investigate the pile performance during the spudcan penetration in single clay and the sand overlying clay soil profiles.
